Dutch citizenship abroad

Hello everyone,
I hope you are all doing well.

I have a question regarding the naturalisation from a abroad. Me and my dutch partner living in another eu country we are in a registered partnership and living together for 3 years and half and i have already passed my A2 inburgering exam. And we wanna apply for dutch nationality through the embassy. Anyone has a similar experience or has informations about what are all the necessary documents i need to submit when i apply please ! And how long does it take usualy when u apply from abroad and not in the netherlands ?

And secondly i saw this requirement on the ind website for applying for the citizenship abroad
""You meet the requirements for a Dutch residence permit with a non-temporary residence purpose."" What does this mean exactly what document should i provide for this ? As we are living in another EU country and i have a residence permit in this EU country not in The Netherlands! Thank you very much in advance.

Zal ik Nederlands schrijven?
Iemand die vanuit het buitenland naturalisatie vraagt, moet aantonen dat er in principe op het moment van de naturalisatieaanvraag aan het Nederlandse middelenvereiste wordt voldaan. Dit betekent, dan van je partner wordt gevraagd dat hij of zij hieraan voldoet. Daarvoor worden de huidige inkomensgegevens gevraagd.

De IND vindt dat bij verblijf op grond van het EU-recht in een andere lidstaat niet automatisch betekend dat verblijf in Nederland voor een niet-tijdelijk doel is gewaarborgd.
Dat standpunt lijkt voor discussie vatbaar.

Wacht niet te lang met de aanvraag. Per 1 januari worden de leges hoger. Bovendien zijn er plannen om het taalniveau (snel?) te verhogen naar B1.

I thought the income requirement for naruralisation from abroad mostly only for people living in a country outside the EU ? Or is it for everyone ? We are living in Austria so we should submit the last three months payslips of my partner ? Or also mine ? As we both work or the ind needs only my partner's payslips ?


I have passed the A2 exam already at the embassy and i am just waiting now to receive an email from the embassy to go pick up my diploma and make an appointment to apply for the dutch nationality.

Could you please tell me if all these documents are enough or we need more documents for the application ?
. The application form
. Copy of mine and my partner passport
. Copy of my residence permit in the EU country
. My birth certificate + ligalisation
. Passport photos
. Mine and my partner's address registration
. Copy of our registred partnership
. Last 3 payslips of my partner
. Criminal record from my home country and from the eu country we are living at
.A2 naturalisation diploma

Are all the documents correct or is there any in the list that is not needed or there is something missing we need to add as well?

Thank you very much again for your reply. I just got an email from the dutch embassy and they also require a criminal record certificate from all the countries i lived in the oast 5 years. So the past 5 years i lived 2 years in the netherlands and 3 years in austria so i need to get both the dutch criminal record certificate and the austrian one or i neednonly to get a criminal record certificate from Austria in this case ? Thanks a lot

Onze IND heeft inzage in de Nederlandse justitiële documentatie. Het opvragen van een VOG (verklaring omtrent gedrag) lijkt me voor jou wat onzinnig.
Houd het op de Oostentijkse justitiële verklaring, zou ik zeggen.
